Today, I would like to share a paper recently presented and published at the 9th International Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics Conference "Innovative Geotechnologies for Energy Transition", held at Imperial College London last September 12-14.

This paper, which was prepared jointly by M. Arroyo, E. Romero, G. Spagnolli and G. Tintelnot, is part of a more extensive research, which we are currently developing at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia - BarcelonaTECH, on the application of colloidal silica composites for the improvement of the shaft capacity of piles installed in offshore environments.
