At the beginning of May, the 20th International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering will be held 

In this conference, the 10th Terzaghi Oration, will be in charge of Dr. Antonio Gens, who is Lecturer of Geotechnical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). This conference will deal with Geotechnical Engineering in deltaic environments.

Also, Dr. Enrique Romero, who is Research Director at the Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory of the same institution and Researcher at CIMNE (Barcelona), will give a State of the Art Lecture on unsaturated soils.
